Hello,
My name is Adam and I would like to provide you with information about a contest to help feed those in need, and am hoping you can take this information and pass it along to the people who read First Food Bank. I work for Digital Operative a digital marketing agency and one of our clients, Feeding America is working with us to create a contest that utilizes the power of social media to help feed those in need. In this contest, whose URL is http://bit.ly/hungerisclose participants take pictures of themselves volunteering at their local Feeding America food bank and post the picture to facebook. Their friends, family, and co-workers then vote for the volunteer by loving the picture on facebook to show support. The person with the most love gets $500 dollars for the foodbank that they served in from Digital Operative. Feeding America is a hunger relief organization whose mission is to feed America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage the country in the fight to end hunger. Through the assistance of local and national food assistance programs Feeding America is able to provide nutritious, fresh foods to Americans struggling with hunger, safe and nurturing places for children to have a meal: emergency assistance for disaster victims, as well as a chance at self sufficiency for adults trying to break the cycle of hunger and poverty.
We would like you to help spread the word about this contest which will help prevent hunger and assist food banks.
To learn more about this contest please visit the online contest page.
Please support your local Food Banks and help spread the word about this campaign that is raising awareness for what Feeding America is doing for the hungry across the United States

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank you,
Adam
